Well after 2000 miles and several weeks use,transit is booked in for all next week for gearbox repair,it decided it no longer wants to stay in 1st gear,just aswell its not my own personal van tho,shit happens lol

They're crap, get used to it ::)

Only going to get worse once Southampton closes, then they will all be built in Turkey :'(

Most of Transits are already built in Turkey. Not having an anti Turkey or Cem rant, they are quite simply crap.

Post 2006, they are poorly made from cheapy cheap cheap parts, unreliable, thirsty and basically pants.

A 1988 Leyland Sherpa is better built and more reliable than a 2013 Transit ::) Transits used to cost as much as Mercedes Sprinters, and justifiably so, but the current Ford range is truly woeful, overpriced rubbish.

ps Did I mention that they're crap? Really, really crap :-\

Must admit mpg is not that good,my mv6 did alot better,i get about 26mpg.

They cost more in fuel than a 1.8 Vectra C estate with a close ratio box ;D
