Title: Not Another One

Last week I ended up with a mates 01 2.2 dti. He had so many issues this past year .Finally when wipers only park half way up the screen and bonnet cable broke,it was on its way the crusher.Today i got the bonnet open,drained the scuttle  it was full. Would a motor sort the wipers .

no - the linkage on motor has moved-loosen nut and move arms to correct position then tighten nut again :y

Wipers sorted today. Other issues slight misfire on startup.

water/oil in spark plug wells-cam cover leaking-easy on 2.2 :y :y :y

*COUGH*, its a DTi symes ;)


Worth checking all 4 glowplugs are good, any suspicion, just replace them all.
