Depending how low you want to go, might want to look at coilovers  :y

Was thinking 40 to 50mm springs on lowered shocks. :) or even if anybody has a set of coilovers at a decent price.

What about these?

There are also lower springs for the front, same as above but 65/35. You can also get only the springs and fit them with better quality shocks.

Around 30mm is the general advice for handling, beyond this and its looks alone with potentialy worse handling (think about suspension geo and it will become clear why)  :y

Bilstein B4's with irmscher springs was the general advice but the springs are getting hard to get, I seem to recall that Eibachs have been used by some.

Indeed, 30mm is about the max for UK roads. In fact, I'd say thats too low for the rear, though I do have a rather great big LPG tank over my rear axle.

I am always catching the front bumber, rear bumper, exhausts, cats and diff on speed bumps, bridges, kerbs etc.  Then with the current state of the roads around here, bumps, potholes etc.

On the way to the Wycombe meet, I got bored with the traffic, and went around the lanes...  ...mistake, at one point I was doing less than walking pace for several hundred yards, scraping the bottom of the car, where the road had failed.

Anybody got any pics, jus to give me an idea. It's ma first omega, had couple of 1.9 Toledo's,  a 2.2 mk4 astra,  a 2.2 cdx Vectra an a VTS saxo before this and always had them stupid low on coils cause to me it looks awesome but the omega already sit' low jus wanted it to sit nice, also wanted to space the back wheels slightly cause the tyres sit so deep in the back arch.  :P

Plenty of pics in the meetings section - Wycombe meet pics 1/2/3 :y

See one you like, we can let you know it's setup :y

Only slammed Omegas I've seen have, TBH, been unusable as day to day transport.

Google translate is your friend. (e.g. google.co.uk then select more, translate) . Just cut and paste the language and it translates(after a fashion). If you had specific questions, if you asked them in English chances are they would have someone to answer you in English. I have never yet met a German who didn't speak fair English.

Front (assuming standard diameter tyres) looks to be about 30mm. The rear, I'd guess about 20-25mm  :-\

Though might be 30 at rear, but with nothing in boot.

I have to remember I have an LPG tank over back axle.

Very happy with the Eibach -30mm springs and Bilstein B4's on mine.

To me it's the very limit of lowering an Omega, any lower wouldn't be useable for me.

Shocks may be pumping it up a bit...

I'll agree with that, my E36 had a 40/20 kit fitted (which was a 25/9 in reality due to the M-Sport lowering to start with), and all it achieved was to turn it in to a "roller skate".
