Yes folks, it's that time again when the ultimate in vocal and compositional musical talent gathers for a veritable feast of musical bliss. It's Eurovision tonight ! :D
Yes we all say "You won't catch me watching that rubbish . . . . . etc blah" but loads of us do and delight thinking up the most caustic comments possible. Great stuff :y
Yes of course it's crap, Yes of course Cyprus will vote for Greece etc etc, Yes of course there's only ever been one worthy winner, and that was Lordii the heavy metal monster band from Finland, well maybe Abba . . . .
Anyway, the Rog household has got an easy dinner lined up, beer and wine in the fridge, and four of us will indulge in an orgy of verbal condemnation. ::)
Anyone else having a Euro party ?
Mr Farage ? Are you there ? C'mon join in . . . . It's fun . . . .

Are we the only nation that think that this is just a joke ???
I get the impression the rest take it seriously ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Armenia and Azherbeistan (about correctly spelled) do not vote for each other. Last year 49 did and they were "investigated" by the police ;D
-
The best thing about the eurovision is comentry by Graham Norton , he truly takes the pee out all of the contestants ;D
-
terry wogan was the best

I am surprised that no one in Europe has told the UK what song we must sing how much we must pay to sing it and who must perform it. ;D ;D
-
Why oh why do we do the same every year? We need an up beat, bubbly song to have any change of getting anywhere...................fair play to Bonnie but the song was, imho, too slow. ::) ::) ::) Not really watching it but I looked up at Iceland's song......... ;)
-
Greeces entry was like a bad Manners tribute act.........Brilliant

Actually Bonnie ended up doing better than last year, and I think that although a long way from winning, she did herself a lot of good :y
-
Doesn't the fact that Graham Norton can predict fairlly well who will vote for who render the whole exercise meaningless?

Nope, that'll be the Danes ::)
Listened to it on the radio, usual mix of stuff by the sound of it, some good, some bad and some so bad it was almost good ;D
The Eurovision themed show that followed it on Radio 2 had some real classics on it 8)

Well I couldn't resist a look.
First of all it seemed slicker, and only English was spoken by the compare. So far so good. But then the songs............I made it to Bonnie's effort, but it was all the same old tosh.........I then fell asleep!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;)
