Title: For Sale - Solid Dog Guard, Estate.
Post by: zirk on 18 May 2013, 19:53:11
Being removed frm an Ex Police Estate, very solid, bolts through Floor and rear  upper Seat Belt bolts. Not sure if it was used as a Dog Guard, thinking it was more go do with stopping rear passingers reaching over the seats to access Gun Cabinet. The guard goes from floor to just below roof so still efective with the rear seats folded down. Well made and good condition, have all of the fixing bolts. £40 collected, no idea how to post.

It will make a good dog guard,as they are actually secure bulkheads to stop the equipment thats in the boot comeing forward under braking.
Normally removed before sale, but as no more omegas, leave them in.

True enough, it was fitted to a 2003, so probably left in, although the Reg was an N Reg so guessing a ghost plate for some reason. The car was actually unmarked Estate so guessing not Traffic but had the usual clues of a gun cabinet being in there at some point.  ;)

Its for the Estate, fits just behind the rear folding seats.

Pics added.

As you can see from the Photos the Guard is quiet sturdy, below the seat line is made of thick MDF and then below that is a metal plate that goes almost to the floor and extends to the lower part of the rear seats.

There is a gap between the seats and the guard, so this could be used for some storage and can be accessed from behind the seat and has a plastic flap at the top which is level with the back of the rear seats.

Bring a Crash Helmet, I'll show you how a 3.2 Estate with LSD and a proper Manual Gearbox works around corners. ;)
