Title: Slow Coolent Loss

Since changing my HBV I still seem to be experiencing a small loss of coolent. The seal on the expansion bottle cap looked quite worn so I replaced it with the cap off swmbo's 1997 1.6 Astra.

If the HBV is not faulty, which I have not yet been able to check, could there be any other reason for coolent loss?

get a pressure test done on it,check the maintenance guide on how to do it :y
