Had codes
. Po 173
 po170  twice today,fuel trim malfunction? any ideas why.

Top of my head i think it could be air mass but if i'm wrong i'm sure someone will correct

Unplug it and see if the idle changes, if not then Maf is toast :-\

If it helps

GM Boxed £143.57 + VAT
Bosch Boxed £121.94 + VAT
"White Boxed" £52.50 + VAT some far easten part i would think

Thats a good idea mr webby,trip to maplins then.

I dumped half a can on my MAF and it worked.... although ensure its thoroughly dry before replacing  :y

Maf or air leak.

Is there another 3.2 owner nearby you can borrow the maf off of?

Do you have access to a live data capable code reader...?

Very good chance of wrecking maf by trying to clean it!!
