Title: Washing Machine Door ?
Post by: SteveAvfc. on 06 June 2013, 17:29:35
Strange request and if not befitting for the forum apologies and admin please remove.

I have a one year old German Shepherd that has taken a shine to the washing machine door, and now am in need of another one. Have looked at buying new but fell to the floor in astonishment at there cost.

So thought i would ask if any Forum members has a machine that has seen its last wash and therefore would have a door going on the cheap plus p&p.

The machine in question is a Candy GO FS 262 i believe Hotpoint is the same.

Many thanks in advance Steve.

That's stunning mischief  :o Keep an eye on ebay as there may be a spares or repair machine you can just buy the door off. Or tip off the guys at the local tip you are looking for one...worth a tenner in their back pocket as they must get loads through every day.

as has already been said, ebay, and as many classified ads as you can find. is it not possible just to get the plastic parts because the glass and the steel hinges aren't affected or is the glass bonded to make it more expensive to replace !

Although the seal should seal to the glass not the plastic
