Title: Passenger Front Door won't open.
Post by: Popeyeskipper on 07 June 2013, 17:36:41
Hello,
Wondering if anyone here could help me. I recently bought back my old Omega from my friend. It's a 2.2 Sport. The problem I am having is that the passenger front door will not open with central locking and I can't even open it from inside. I can't get the knob up manually.
Can anyone suggest how to get it open so I can get the panel off and have a look at what's going on with it.

Greatly appreciated for any help in advance.

Stuart.

Open passenger window and from outside grip the doorpin with decent pliers/molegrips and force it up

JUST TRIED WHAT YOU SUGGESTED AND GOT THE KNOB IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION BUT THE DOOR WILL STILL NOT OPEN. WHEN I TRIED THE HANDLE THE KNOB WANTED TO GO BACK DOWN.
CAN I GET THE PANEL OFF WITHOUT THE DOOR BEING OPEN AS IT LOOKS LIKE I CAN'T ?
