Title: Outter cv boot

Hi I have a small nick in one of my outer cv boots  >:( is there a thread on how to replace them and are they still available from squealer  :-\

Quite a fag to change. It means taking off the half shaft and replacing it afterwards. It's easier getting a second hand shaft from a scrappie, and probably as cheap, time you have bought the boot and the grease.

They're about £60 all in from Vx but choice of two or three different types if shaft :-\

Might get lucky and find New Old Stock for a fraction of that :y got mine from Now Vauxhall in West Byfleet for about £20 :y

There's a drive shaft for sale on e-bay for £11.24 in New Romney, Kent. If you are anywhere near there nip down there and buy it!

Also got driveshafts here I could remove boots from if anyone needs them. :y

There are several types, so you need to be sure of getting the correct ones :y
