hi all just went for wee run and as coming back coolant warning indicator came on so got home and have noticed car very hot but then it is hot today but anyway header tank was set ar correct level but has risen now to about 2/3 inches above level indicator. the hoses are all very hot but seem same temperature along track, any ideas? :-\

The level will rise in the header tank as the water expands in the system. When it is cold again it should have fallen to the original level. The level line is labelled KALT.

Which coolant warning? Are we talking about the warning on the MID? Or the one on the dash? (next to the rev counter)
If its warning on the MID (big display) the coolant bottle has a float sensor, its either stuck of the sensor has failed.
If its temp warning on the dash, are the cooling fans coming on?

Or the electrical plug underneath the bottle has come off ;)
