Post by: mav1508 on 09 June 2013, 18:42:50
this is probably in the wrong place..but here goes..

i looking for some advice when it comes to insurance.. i have noticed that quite a few members on here own more than one omega.. :y
my Q. my own insurance company allianz dont or wont cover for more than one car per policy... so where are all the members getting insurance for there own car/s?????????

it bugs me because ive been wanting to get a another omega for sometime, my estate for use with the family and dogs.. and a saloon for me..! selfish i know.. but i want to have the choice of what to use, without having to keep swaping out my policy from one car to the other..
cheers :y

I have six Omegas, five of which I insure on one policy with Admiral. I was nervous of them, but on renewal they did not rob me. I paid about £1600 for them on renewal last April. I was paying about £4000 before with Aviva on individual policies via a High Street broker.

We had three cars with them. First year as the cars were all included on the policy were great, couldn't complain at the cost. Come renewal, I think they used  'think of a number' for the renewal figure!  ???  ???  ???

I have full NCD on 3 different policies (plus the bike, on a 4th), so I can chop and choose.

However, both Omegas are currently with Admiral, purely down to cost.
