Title: citreon ?

a good mate of mine has a xsara Picasso 2ltr diesel that went into limp mode whilst retuning home. it starts, but sounds like a bag of nails. does anybody on here have any idea  where to start looking, or whats favourite to be the cause. :y

Could be many things,needs a code reader on it to see whats come up,he hasn't put petrol in by mistake has he ?

has he put the magic tree in the right way,that affects a lot of things if its installed wrong  ;D ;D

could be an injector,my mates did this and it sounded almost like big ends hellish noise.
