A car is worth what anyone is happy to part with, considering the newest examples now are 10 years old, good examples with low miles in great nick will fetch more.

True, but they're not exactly desirable are they? I mean sure we love them... but in general people think theyre pretty dull.

plus the running costs are silly!

Gawd, looking at those photos, I forgot how much air there was between the wheel and the arch on an Elite with original suspension.

Back in the day did anyone actually pay this much for a new Elite?. I'm guessing they were heavily discounted.

Is that the original information display? Only looks 2/3rds. I'd have thought it would be the full screen or the colour / sat nav. one?

Same as mine, Its either that GID display or full colour CID on 3.2 Elite's .. Tad small the text on the non-colour GID display  :-\

Compared to TID and MID the GID is small imo although the GID is better quality those nasty orange pixels are less visible  ;D

Would you prefer text this size?

 ;D ;D ;D

btw i only said a tad small not so bad once you remember where temp and clock are  :y

But seriously why Vauxhall/Ope/GM made the GID as small as it is less than half pretty much the size of the colour and MID considering its the Elite an all :-\

Better resolution than a MID though.

GID is OK as you don't have full maps displaying, unlike the CID.
