Title: This takes a lot of beating
Post by: Rods2 on 17 June 2013, 19:16:10
I've just finished a couple of slices of a fresh baked wholemeal loaf, straight out of the breadmaker, smothered in real butter, that melts as you eat it. Simple food at its very best.  :) :y :y :y :y

You can't beat it....the greasier, stickier abd fruit filled the better. You know when you have a good 'un when it drips down your chin, sticks your mouth up ;D ;D ;D

Interesting point....my cousin, knowing how I like them, brought me one up from a bakers in Tiverton, Devon.........it was just like a very large Chelsea bun !!!!!!! Just sugar on top, no geasy lard or anything...very dry. Was very disappointed. :(
