Title: Alternative locations for relay K153, consumer time delay
Post by: veesta on 22 June 2013, 09:36:38
I have a left hand drive, year 2000 facelift Omega.

From TIS2000, this relay should be behind the fuse box on A-pillar.
The problem is, i only have two relays there. First one is turn signal relay for central lock (Blinks turn signals when you lock the doors) and second one is a buzzer for key-in-door-open.
No empty sockets. Only a bracket with these two sitting.

The problem is with electric windows. Sometimes i need to turn driving lights on and off, before electric windows work.
Sometimes electric windows work without turning the lights on.

Headlights are turning on automatically after engine starts, so it is a bit frustrating to turn them on and off manually just to get windows to work properly.  :-\

Timer delay relay is under steering wheel. Drop fusecover flap, undo the 2 screws holding the main fuseboard and the relay is behind that (tall yellow one)

Between 15-20 mins app. Powers interior lights, windows, mirrors & seats plus the rear acc. socket
