Title: Aux drive shaft pulley
Post by: Paulus62 on 23 June 2013, 16:00:26
Hi All,

I've cleaned up the Aux drive shaft pulley, the inner face was quite rusted on the surface and the outer was also under the covering of oil it had. In the DVD on changing the cam belt the pulley that was on the car was considered passable, is mine the same - photos below?

There is a mark in both edges which I assume is to show TDC do I align this to fit when cams show TDC or with the marks on the drive shaft? Also if the pulley is serviceable should I give it a wipe with a cloth soaked in waxoyl or similar?

Thanks for putting up with the very basic questions - Paul
