Mate of mine is looking for a Autobox for a 2.0 Carlton in the Boston, Lincolnshire area.. a F35 box i believe.. As cheap as possible he's willing to collect.  :y

F35 is iirc a six speed front drive manual box :-\

wait untill vboa billing should be one there, or a manuel box,same as a manta i believe...

there is one on bay-type in vauxhall carlton gearbox---would put on here but i cant :(

yep that one-not sure-but think its beefed up one bit like ar25/ar35 iirc-think  ratios are same-but dont take my word for it-been years since been in one-let alone work on one :y

Carlton autobox is AR25 on a 2.0.
AR35 on a 3.0.
At least on a '93 L reg.

ah  so you could use a 2.5 gearbox then---reckon one should bolt straight on-as 2.0 miggy uses same as 2.5 :y

Aye, a AR25 gearbox is needed.. Anyone got a good one up for sale in the area ?

Put a wanted ad in the section must be a AR25 kicking about,the amount that have been swapped for AR35

Or just use an AR35 if one is available at the right price.Its the same box with some internals beefed up. :y

mentioned already- ;)-in fact ar35 would be better option IMO :y
