Title: Webber leaving F1
Post by: albitz on 27 June 2013, 10:49:10
Hes going to race sports cars for Porsche next year.I wonder who will replace him ?
My guess would be a young up and coming driver (from Torro Rosso ?) who will most definitely be number 2 to the petulant one. :-\

Its all about who would bring money into the team and the majority sponsor's approval, driving skill helps a little.

Valentino Rossi?.......they could do worse. He's had some experience in an F1 car and has natural ability. :y

Rossi has no interest in doing F1. He said that driving around one behind the other while some bloke jabbers instructions into his earpiece all the time would do his head in.Fair comment I thought. ;D
I doubt Red Bull are interested in drivers bringing money tbh. They are awash with money, possibly more than any of the other teams on the grid.
Imo,the main concern will be someone who will support, but not really challenge Vettell.I would imagine Vettell will take the opportunity to grab official number one status. He keeps sticking his index finger up every time he sees a camera,so hes obviously very convinced that he is already number one. :)

Red Bull dictate all in that team. Webber is plenty good enough to challenge that little shit, but the "team" see to it Webber is kept at bay. Nobody is that unlucky in a team, how many times did Webbers Kerz fail? Or some magical gremlin appear when he got close to Vettal? Not to mention the front wing shambles. And Multi 21 etc. what a joke.

NOBODY is that unlucky. I'm suprised he stuck it out as long as he did.

Although his wages might have helped. ::)

Yes....I'd take the job for half of what Webber gets paid. :)

Poor Webber, such a good character. As above, how many times have technical problems hit his car  ::)  :-X

Got a feeling Kimi might be in there, don't think Lotus are going to give him the car he wants.

It would be interesting if Kimi did go there,as theres no way he would accept being forced to play second fiddle to Vettel, and on an even playing field Imo he would beat Vettel comfortably.
Ive heard it said that Vettel is good friends with Scummy, and asks his advice etc. which may be why he seems to be slowly morphing into a scummy clone. Get the result, doesnt matter how you get it as long as you get it,sh1t on your team mate every chance you get,and exude arrogance from every pore.
Hes good though.Cant take it away from him.Hes definitely in the top five drivers of the current bunch, but not in the top three imo.

Red bull will not employe anyone good enough to challenge Vettal.

...or if they do, he will not be allowed to. Again. :)

I agree BUT he would have a hard time with team politics. It would be nice to see Kimi show Vettel a clean pair of heels!

I must be one of the only dudes on here who likes Vettell. he seems a pretty decent and witty chap imo. yes of course hes been disrespectful to his team with various incidents... the multi 21 thing was bad but he wants to win races. most of us aren't anywhere near as competitive as these guys and I think youd have to be to understand why he did what he did.

I don't see why people like kimi so much. yes he's bloody hilarious and provides entertainment..... but he's a seriously miserable bar steward and bloody arrogant imo.

Kimi is the coolest dude on the planet.Doesnt give a toss about any of the showbiz/glamour/politics/ bullshit that surround F1. The only thing that gets him excited is getting in the car and wringing its neck. Apparently they often have to wake him up 20 minutes before hes due on the grid,as he just goes to sleep until its time, then wakes up,jumps in the car and gives it some stick.
Away from the F1 circus he is a real party animal, who is often legless in his local pubs and clubs.
I think hes a real star character. :)
Vettel on the other hand reminds me of a spoilt arrogant little girl. All that whooping and yelling over the radio when he wins, makes me want to throw something at the TV. Cant abide the little sh1t tbh.
Would love to see the team give the second driver a fair chance, but I cant see it happening tbh. Mr Red Bull (cant remember his name) employs a bloke to be his representative in the tam,and its common knowledge that from his perspective,Vettel is the only driver in the team.
Speaking of Red Bull. How can anyone drink that crap. The taste is what I would Imagine Horse piss tastes like first thing in the morning. ::) ;D
