Title: another update on Paul L

Had this latest information from Jane.......

Paul's lungs are much better so they took him off sedation on wed but there was no response at all. His blood pressure went to 247!! which was really scary and his heart rate was really high.  They have now found he has fluid on the brain as it cannot drain as the blood is blocking the ventricles. they have re-scanned him and sent them to Kings who advised a lumbar puncture to remove some of the fluid. so this has been done and they are going to take him off sedation again tomorrow to see if this has made any difference.

Always sad to hear when someone is so unwell, don't know Paul personally but have had many a good chat with him on OOF. Thoughts  are with you friend keep fighting and i am sure i speak for all on the forum in wishing you a speedy recovery.
