i must say it makes me very nervous when the sort of idiots we have in the house of commons become involved in issues as serious as this,but thats democracy i suppose.

I agree up to a point Mike, but 'experts' once stated that the World was flat, the Sun travelled around it, and light could not be bent etc, etc, etc.... ;)

Oh yes! I am an expert parent and he definately exists and can be trusted.....especially when he is giving you one...er a gift....on Christmas Day out of pure love!

Very true, but it was another scientists/travellers,etc who proved that wrong.. not a politician.

Very true, but it was another scientists/travellers,etc who proved that wrong.. not a politician.
Agreed, but the politicians always listen to the 'experts' for economical and political reasons not what the people really require or what common sense dictates ;)
i.e. that bloody big tent on the South bank of the Thames and the 2012 Olympics costing £11bn >:(
