Title: Best clutch
Post by: ajsphead on 01 July 2013, 16:31:11
Time to replace the clutch on my 2.5 V6. Just phoned the dealer. £144 TC on exchange but there's none on the network. Alternatively IRO £550 TC new. I've bought a genuine GM slave as I've had too many issues in the past with dodgy aftermarket hydraulics but who makes the Omega clutch or what's the best equivalent to OE spec?

Thanks

Find a factor that sells Luk or Sachs.

Haven't had any issues with either! :y

Just sourced a 2 piece LUK for £123. Happy days. Assume standard universal alignment tool is OK? Am I also right in thinking that 1 clutch change on the DMF is fine allowing for no visible scoring, sloppiness or other excessive wear indicators.
