My 4th Year checkup is tomorrow and I'm reasonably blase to feel everything is OK, but my mood is tempered both by my degenerating spinal problems and the recent sad loss of Paul Lovejoy :(
However, life goes on and we must make the best of it! :y

All the best Phil!! :)

My mother struggles on with various stuff.
She says "better to be looking down at daisies than up at them". About right. She still plays golf even though it takes her a week to recover.!
Live every minute.

I do hope it all goes well Phil, I have mine on Thursday at North Tees, I find it a little like going for an MOT but less stressful as every year goes by.
How is your back these days? and I understand exactly what you mean regarding Paul - you just never know what is around the corner..... :( :( :(
-
It will be what it will be and end up the way it's going to end up.
Worry about what it is and not what you think it might be
HTH and hope your fears are not realised

Many thanks for all your good wishes chaps, they are very much appreciated :y
I am not long back from the check-up with another 12 months ticket, and only a few 'advisories' :D ;D
My Surgeon, Prof. Griffin was operating today so I was seen by one of his team, a nice chap from the Middle East with a hilarious grasp of English Idiom! After telling me I was '95% cured' and that there was 'a 20% chance of the tumour returning but this is to be highly unexpected' ???
He went off to organise a MRI scan of my upper chest and on returning said he was also arranging for me to see an Orthopedic surgeon & Physiotherapy for the ongoing problems the surgery has left behind in my shoulder and fingers, but he wasn't going to comment further on that until the results were in as 'I don't want to be stepping on the toes of their shoes'! ;D
p.s. You can take your Suspenders off now Steve! ;D (but only if you really want to :D) ;)

Good news, Phil............I think :-\
