I have the above phone and I want to put some of the pictures onto my computer. I have plugged it into the computer using the usb lead provided it seems to connect as it shows as another hard drive connected but it wont let me open it. It asks me to insert a disk which I dont have. Will I need to forget this and try and just put them on the computer via bluetooth.

Are the pictures on the phone itself or SD card inserted in the phone?
I'd personally put dropbox app on there, it will automatically load all photos taken, and uploads them. Use it all time here, take a photo, open dropbox, it auto-uploads, then syncs with my Windows PC in seconds :y

just go on the Samsung website and download the Pc suite for that phone,you can also then back up your phone so that important stuff stays with you if phone lost/broken :y

I use lookout security on our phones. As well as checking for malware and scanning every site you visit, it can locate a lost phone and automatically backs up everything. £1.99 a month.

Enable USB Debugging mode on the handset, Windows will then see both the internal and external memory cards as standard USB disk drives rather than through that useless MTP application.
