I have just came out from the pub mind you not drinking as driving . Anyway walked to the car and I could see something on the floor from the rear . After close inspection looked like false hair coming from the exhaust . I pulled it all out . Am I right in saying that that should not be there . And that it was from inside the exhaust somewhere ?
-
Exhaust baffles collapsed. Means rest of it is buggered too really, could be blocked so not helping performance.
Time for a new cat back one, try Eternal around £120 cat back (for V6, £75 4Pot) with double walled centre sections :y

To be fare the exhaust looks like new still . Silencers are Clearwater not really rusted like normal . X.
-
Well the back box is defo shagged, it's often a nightmare separating back box from centre sections.
So just easier to replace whole lot :y
-
Typical . Always something .. . Have to wait till end of month . . Will it be ok to drive ?
-
Should be ok, but don't count on it for long stuff. Pulling away it could easily go bang and blast a new hole in the centre/back box :y
-
Thanks I.'ll get one priced up this week . . :y
-
Just pull all the hair out and get the new exhaust ready for the next MoT :y

If its just the back box you need...there is a genuine new one in the sales area :y
