Title: Is cam belt cover on 1999 3 litre ame as a 2000 2.5?
Post by: terry paget on 14 July 2013, 22:35:13
The cam belt cover on my 2000 2.5 petrol estate is broken. I have a spare cam belt cover from a 1999 3 litre saloon. Will it fit?l

I would have thought they would be the same, as year and engine model are there or there abouts.

However, it seems 1999 was an odd year for Vauxhall and they gave the Omega what I like to call the 'Peugeot Treatment'..... as an example, parts of the air-Con system are different in that year and that year only.  :-\

In this case yes, there was an earlier version (pre 97.5) where the fixngs were different and a later used on the 3.2/2.6.
