Title: Brake Sensor
Post by: dbug on 18 July 2013, 21:38:51
'03 2.6 V6 Estate (facelft)

Could someone please confirm only one sensor fitted to front passenger side, sensor itself clips into inboard pad.

Thanks ;)

Confirmed  :y

Only one sensor on later facelifts, I assume it's related to engine: 2,6/3,2 have only one sensor, on left side front, 2,5/3,0 cars have sensors on both sides. And inboard pad is correct.

From 2001 onwards, just one, passenger side (on RHD models). Pre 2001, one each side.

Thanx guys, couldn't tell on the Estate as Vx main dealer (in Corby) who fitted front discs and pads just before we took delivery cut and shorted out sensor - Vx service rules OK!!

Glad my memory is still holding up  ;)
