Of course, not noticed that all brand new cars have DRL lights? Also on bikes too  :y

Volvo's were ahead of their time then, seems unnecessary to me just irritates other drivers, nice one Albitz its just a matter of time

I hope you are very patient. Nice idea but it won't happen for years (if ever). By then we will all be driving cars (or Zimmer Frames) that automatically charge you by not just the mile, time of day but by how aggressively you use the throttle and brakes. DRL will be the least of peoples worries.

I Like these type found on newer Audis

But these type do nothing for a car but make it look tacky and cheap imo.

Just a cheap way of complying with DRL law.

The stop/start is pretty annoying too if you forget to override it! The starter and battery are never going to last

You get used to it,although the mpg is still crap even using Eco ,don't get over 26mpg in mine, and the gearbox are crap,1st gear went on mine within 2weeks/1400 miles, and took ford a month to fix

Dunno about commercials, but on cars I know Ford claim the starter and battery a "specially designed" for stop-start.

Personally, I think I can smell a bit of bovine in the air, but at least it keeps the tree huggers happy.

"specially designed" to fail just outside their warranty...?
