Was just searching for something to clean the windscreen properly like IPA and stumbled across this website.. Some amazing products (presuming they work like)..
Similar to RainX but lasts 3 years :o
http://max-protect.co.uk/protective-coatings-automotive/ultimate-glass-coat-pro.html
Similar thing as above but for the body of the car Nano film membrane :o
http://max-protect.co.uk/protective-coatings-automotive/ultimate-nano-coat-r.html
Similar thing again but heat resistant say for tip of chrome exhaust :o
http://max-protect.co.uk/protective-coatings-automotive/max-protect-ultimate-nano-coat-v3.html
I'm either easily amused or these are some wonderful products then again they should be at these prices, Like the idea of the 1st link though.. And maybe the exhaust one but the middle one you'll need more than 15ml to complete an Omega :o :D ;D

This product is cheaper and gets good reviews. Last up to 2 years apparently.

The GTechniq stuff is all very good. Some of their stuff does defy belief until you witness it 1st hand.
I have most of their kit, along with a good few people over on DetailingWorld.
If anybody can get to Towcester during the week, it is worth popping into their premises and talking to the owner, Rob. Lot of good information and a very sound company.

Umm now that's interesting,I'm in towcester every Thursday :D

Definitely worth popping in.
Their address is Unit 17, Pury Hill Business Park, Nr Alderton, Towcester NN12 7LS. Give them a ring on 01327 811015 if you want.
As said, their G1 is wonderful. I have driven in thunderstorms @ 70mph with no wipers on and can see perfectly. Their EXO is very good too.

I believe there's another version called G5 that starts working at lower speeds around 30mph but doesn't last as long as G1 or something. Have bought some G1 to try though :y

There is indeed. However, it is not durable enough for wiper blades. The rule is normally either G1 on all windows, or G1 on front and rear, and G5 on side windows and mirror glasses.

I find silicone wipers works very well at beading up the water and not needing to use wipers at cruising speeds maybe ill consider this as an alternative option :y

Got the G1 ClearVision Smart Glass today and put it on the windscreen... Amazing stuff :o :o 8) Definitely recommended just a little awkward to put it on but worth the effort .. You'll never need the wipers on full speed again or on at all :y
-
Expensive stuff :o :o

What's it like with bug splats?

If you think that is expensive, you should see this collection

And that is just some, I have a few more bits hanging around, plus need to go back up to see Rob and Pete soon for some more stock.

Well just got back from some 110miles, Unfortunately it's been raining heavy all day, Ideal to test it against heavy rain for long distances and its better with than without, Although I think i'll get the other one as well that starts repelling at 30mph ;) .. As for the bugs that'll have to be for another day (next Sunday hopefully) :)
