Looking at changing my old CD and have seen a couple of CDX,s on the net. I believe that this model has self-levelling
headlights and washers. Are there any major problems with either of these? Any thoughts and experiences about them
would be a great help and if so is it an expensive fix?  :-\

Most of the issues will all depend on engine type fitted, they have got HID's. No Bose, No self levelling suspension as standard.

Headlight washers need good strong mix of screen wash, stop them being blocked. They can get through the 6L on a single night run sometimes!

Nothing about them is expensive to fix really, you could consider aluminum adjusters if the current ones have failed.

How much more is a V6 to run costwise compared to a 2.2? :-\

Never had a 4 pot Omega ....... Tunnie is the man to ask, he drives both. I can't really see there being loads of difference in the real world.  ;)

Depending on age, insurance can be considerably more.

Pick of the V6 bunch would be 2.5 or 3.0 I think with 2.5 manual being about the best on fuel out of everything.

If you do a lot of DIY work, the 2.2 is by far the easier engine to work on. So much room, everything is considerably easier!

Always wanted 3.2 Elite hence I've got one, but I'm yet to love it as much as my 2.2. However when you plant your foot down, it does make you like it  8)

Fair point..

Couldn't say what the 2.2 Auto says it does doesn't have trip computer, But its very similar going by the similar runs and going by fuel gage, aye the 3.2 V6 Auto does use a little more but gives more in return not mpg but effortless power, You've got to work the 2.2 a little sometimes, worth the few less mpg's imo, Although as said 2.2 much easier to work on ...
