Hi
Does anyone know of a web site where I can check any Vauxhall model's build spec by registration. I have a site for Ford and was looking to see if there was one available for Vauxhall, as its very handy to see what options were put on your prospective purchase, makes getting the car with the options you would like easier and stops any error in listing the car for sale.
I anyone wants the Ford listing here it is:
http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleSelection.do
Just click on vehicle and add the reg number/vin number and it will bring up the cars spec ...

That I like 8) doesn't like older cars though :'( only recognises my last two Granadas...

Older cars ? Granadas ? I'm waiting till they depreciate and drop in price so I can get one ;) ::)
SWMBO had one once. 2.8 Auto Saloon. Lovely car, but thirsty, and VERY prone to rust.

It needs vin or sometimes the original reg that the car was registered with

Tried the regs of all seven Granadas and both Sierras, only recognised the K and L reg two :-\
Must admit the other 5 Granadas may have had reg changes, but when you've paid £100-200 for a car, a V5 and one working key is a nice touch, MoT a bonus, and any tax remaining is pure gravy ::) HPI checks don't even register on the to do list...

You're several years too late! Mk1 and 2 Granadas have been on the increase for some ages, and usable mk3s are getting difficult to find.

Scrapped my last Mk2, an '85 2.8i Ghia X manual in 2003, wrote off my last Mk3, a '92 Scorpio Cosworth saloon in 2004 :'(
Omegas are gradually heading the same way, with the earlier ones disappearing :-\

GM's EPC will allow you to see what it left the factory with. Not a (direct) model name though.
