Title: Omega friendly insurance
Post by: SMD on 09 August 2013, 09:20:27
My insurance is due for renewal in a week. I usually phone around for quotes but last year, for the first time a price comparison site was cheaper. I will do this again but I want to phone for a few quotes but I'm drawing blanks. So who are you lot insured with so I can give them a call.

Thanks

I'm with Admiral and I think mine has actually come down from last year as it's about two hundred pounds and that's with modified manifold/stainless exhaust declared on it.  :y

Got a good quote from AA last year,. I don,t do many miles and also bear in mind that your postcode has something
to do with it as well :-\

I'm with Octagon unfortunately, purely because they were the cheapest fully comp and included a cash back deal  ::)

They have poor reviews and customer service but touch wood up to now I've had no problems with them  :y

Admiral single car wanted £136 more than what I`m paying now with none of the extras :o

Admiral multi car £178 - not bad for London, parked on street, but that is for 15 years no claims. Not to mention the Jedi discount  ;D

Beware though Admiral own Confused.com as well as Elephant, Bell Direct and Diamond. Compare the market is owned by Budget who pose as a lot of companies and GoCompare is connected to Esure who own Sheilas' Wheels.  Moneysupermarket is independent, I think.

Yes, I'm very young (when compared to you lot   ;) ) I'm 30 next Wednesday. Living in London is what bumps up my premium IME. I have 8 years NCB, no fault accidents, no endorsements. Anyway cheapest I have found so far is £660 which is a lot less than last year but I want to pay as much as you old farts  ;D

Tbh even for us old farts it pricey , like said it depends on the postcode  :( Ive got 6 months to find a better quote and as to date Swinton or the co-op are cheapest for me but swinton provide more cover and of course 40 notes back  :y

But master, they must avoid me. Other party at fault. Only took two years to sort out. ::)
