hoping someone with better plumbing experience than me can help here
I need to fit a twin impeller 1.5 bar shower pump in the bottom of hot water tank cupboard to pump a single shower.
Using a Surrey flange to eliminate air to pump . Seperate cold feed from loft tank for cold to pump .
If I route the hot & cold " post " pump shower feeds up from the pump into the loft & over to the shower , will I have any additional
problems. distances are 8 feet up the wall , 10 feet to shower wall & 4 feet back down to shower mixer
Much easier this way as flooring has had new carpets recently & flooring is 2400 x 600 chipboard sheets , so will be a nightmare to go across landing to en suite through the floor :(
TIA Al ;)

Works fine, worth fitting some air bleed points at the high points although with the boosted pressure air soon exits and obviously insulate the pipes.

Thanks, thought it would be ok , just wanted a 2nd opinion . Also will lag pipes :y :y

Yep, works fine. :y That's the same set up that I did a few years ago. I put full bore isolators pre-pump to make it easier if I have any issues later on. It also allows you to work on it at your leisure once you have fitted the isolators. :y

Yes agree with fitting the bleed point in loft.

Is the spur for this pump already wired and suitably protected?
If not, you will need a qualified sparks who can install, test, and sign it off.
