Title: Off to get gearbox oli change today

1st job off the day after cleaning the car is to go and get the gearbox oil changed at a Vauhall specialists in Leicester told me that they will also check on the fillers and if ok just clean them There for 8.30 and told should have the car back for 12.30.

Will let you guy know how it goes later.

No pros Sassanach

All sorted now. Took it the a local Vax Specilists and what can i say its like driving a new car in terms of the gearbox.It took in 5L of dex 3 and now you can not tell when the car changes gear it is that good now and it all changes faster and this has been a big help with the MPG. After the change i have been driving around to for 2-3 hours and the car is showing 29mpg  :).

Looking forward to see what it wil be like on a long run.

and the best bit is it only Cost £55 which i think is good and all the other places i got a quote from where looking for £150-170 for the same job.

Also they where VERY nice guys and very helpful and knew there stuff.
I have had the the gearbox software updated and now at last can feel the full benfit if it. :y :y

Did they just clean the filters?
