I believe the cost for a new 10 year passport is about £65/6, and,  no, providing you can send your old passport with your application you do not have to have someone else witness the photo's (that of course you must send) or anything else.

The Passport Office help no. is 0871 434 9068

With so little time left before your trip, it will probably be best to personally call at a Passport Office if at all possible.

Hope all goes well! :y

When you find out where to get one, let me know, I want to sign up for one as well.

HOPE THEY ARE NOT TOO EXSPENSIVE    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

tragically it's now £72, much to my brother's dismay when he renewed his on thursday, £79 if you go to the post office for their "check and send" service!

you only have to get photos signed if you look dramatically different from your original passport's photo, which I did because I was only 15 on my old passport, and only LOOKED about 13 ;D
