Title: engine warning lights

My engine warning lights ( both the spanner and engine light) are on constantly, not at the same time.
the garage said faulty cam senors, is that a big job and how do i reset / turn off the warning lights

As said get the codes read - gut feeling on this engine is cam sensor ;)

where in hampshire are you as there are several member around who can read the codes. incidently the pedal trick doesn't work on the 2.2, not sure about paper clip though.

2.2 cam sensor change is a doddle, even with just a basic set of tools  :y
