Title: Front Grille?

Hi all (again)

I ordered a 1m X 25cm metal grille via Ebay a few days ago

Has anyone ever tried to make their own "Irmischer"-style front grille & NS & OS bumper grilles from something similar?

How good / pathetic were the results? Saw one in my home town (Grove, Oxfordshire) this weekend that looked quite good.

You can get the wire mesh dip coated jobs on ebay for £30 but the Irmy badge is £10 & you have to tinker to make it fit the mesh grille, but it's worthwhile i reckon.
   Mine looks the Doggies without the Vx V on the grille! 8-)
