Title: Free(well cost of postage) weather stations. How are you getting on with yours?
Post by: Varche on 04 September 2013, 20:26:00
Mine works well enough but the batteries(rechargeable) on the outdoor sensor have needed charging once already since receipt.

Only complaint is the visibilty of the numerals. It would be nice at midnight to see if it less than 25 deg C outside yet!! maybe there is a way of doing that?

I breathed on the indoor part last night and was surprised (but not amazed) to see the humidity go from 59 to 62%. Must have been the Rioja. :y

How are you getting on with yours?

I only had it a day and the leaflet got binned. The tea making button in the morning is still a good find though. ;D

Got the internal display sat on top of the room thermostat in the dining room.....room stat says the temp is 23C, weather station says the the temp is 21C.....so one of them isnt correct....but i guess they both could be off by 1C  :-\

And, of course, that 1° is really important.  ::)

Took mine on hol's to see just how hot that bloomin caravan gets - one evening, when It was 39 outside and 42 inside during the day, the outside sensor failed and has not worked since :( :'(.  If that had been the c/h stat that would have been 44 in  :o :o :o
