Title: Lovely holiday!!!
Post by: Crazycarzowner on 07 September 2013, 18:55:15
Just got back from a lovely week away from Wells in Somerset, absolutely brill weather between 20-23 degs every day till friday when it threw it down  >:( . Took a trip to the Haynes Motor Museum which was excellent, and also the Fleet Air Arm Museum where the 1st British 002 Concorde is housed. Loved every minute of both, however Haynes is undergoing a massive re-build (  ::) I know I could have phrased it better) but the displays were still brill & it will be fantastic when its finished around easter 2014.

Good old Emil (don't ask, wifey christened it that  :-[ ) the Skoda performed greatly 47.7mpg too. Did the whole trip on just over a tank of diesel, some 600 odd miles. Have some great piccies of the cars (if I can fathom how to download).

It is, but I wouldn't bother with a mobile if you go where we went - Wells. Got an Orange mobile, wife has O2, and even T-mobile as a back up PAYG. Useless until you get near a major town / city. Beautiful part of the country though - and I got to drag the misses around the museums too!  :y

Funny you should say that, two blokes were stood looking scratching their heads at some plans while an almighty row was going on in a porta-cabin

Anyone know who this belongs to - Omega W219RNK grey / blue in colour, went through Cheddar Gorge on Sun 01/09/2013. It was in front of me and displayed an Omega Owners sticker in the rear window??
