hi there ive got another problem with the omega when in driving at 40/50mph and brake i get a horrible wobbel/vibration through the steering wheel could that b the disks or something worse cheers

As above - if discs use Vx genuine (sold as set discs + pads around £100)

Inspection required.
Worn/warped discs is quite harsh and in time with wheel speed, where as wishbone bush wear is a softer feel at a more random frequency, bit like a tank slapper on a bike, and isn't always present. Where as a disc issue is there EVERY time brakes are applied.


Depending on the accuracy of the description though, I guess wheel balance might be relevant, although at that speed range, I'd bet on bushes. (Only £1 mind ;) )

Tend to agree - normally wheel wobble around 50mph is suspension/steering related
