Went to Tesco earlier (havent been there in months as i usually go to a local Co-op) but i needed a couple of largish items that i know my local Co-op either doesnt stock or has limited stock.
People usually tell me i pay more for going to the Co-op, but its a convenience thing for me.
I did my weekly shop in there as well and noticed several items were either the same price or more than my local Co-op, which suprised me a bit, tbh.
After paying for the shop, i was presented with a voucher.....saying that if i had shopped elsewhere then i would have saved £1.60, and heres a voucher for £1.60 :(
I know its supposed to get you to go back......but carnt they just give you the discount at point of sale :( as they obviously know they are charging more for some items than other supermarkets :-\
I wont be going back any time soon, just to redeem my voucher and when i do, i will either have lost it or it will have expired ::)

Mostly use Tesco, nearest supermarket about 10 miles away, recently a brand new Sainsbury's opened a couple of miles away, much more convenient for many things - they give the vouchers but you have to remember you have them and use it as needs to be used quickly....... ::) ::)
