Title: 2.2 dti egr valves

For the 2.2 dti there are 2 different egr valves. One with a black plastic top and one that is metal, does anybody know what the difference is?

Don't know, but they're both the plastic topped ones on our two.

Come to think of it, the metal topped ones I've seen advertised are usually listed for the 2.0 (Y20DTH) as opposed to the 2.2 (Y22DTH) engines.
