..of a news item on ITVs Calendar news programme,but it seems someone is restoring a WW1 DH9 aircraft to flying condition.They hope to have it in the air by the end of the year and then hope to sell it to fund another restoration project.I assume that this is happening somewhere in the Yorkshire region with it being on Calendar-but I could be wrong on that-it would be good to see it in flight though and there is no other in the world-at least flying-of this type.Perhaps other more learned people on here will put me right on this and on where the project is taking place.

Yes that's the one.Slightly worrying that they're wanting to restore it to flying condition when it seems from that report that they were quite noted for their unreliability!!
