Shocking scenes coming out of Kenya where Al Shabab have attacked a shopping mall in Nairobi leaving a reported 59 dead and over a 150 wounded! >:( The situation is apparently ongoing.... :-\
It makes you realise how vulnerable we all are to people like this who have no compunction about murdering unarmed civilians including women and children to spread fear and panic! >:(
The PM convened COBRA yesterday to discuss the situation which make you wonder if Britain has already sent help to Kenya, we'll probably never know the full extent if so.. :-\
Having been to Kenya many times and lived and worked in Nairobi for a while, my thoughts today are with those affected.... :'( :'( :'(

the majority sit and watch their food , money and home taken from their hands.. and in that mess dont know what to do..
those kinds of events, even if happened in UK no civil could do anything .. because they are armed and ready to kill randomly..

before anything, look in middle east and see in what position those countries are .. of course the state they are in is related to religion at first hand but there are other factors.. I think the only solution is education , but west either decides to abuse their petrol or bomb the hell out of them ;D
or find it easier to agree with a dictator or seikh and dont care anything else.. :( most of their only and important education is their religion books+rules which even they dont know completely ..

Unfortunately, these terrorists make life difficult for the moderate muslims, who just want to get on with their lives. There have been public comments from moderate muslims condemning this attack where these murderous fanatics put them and their religion into further disrepute. It is good to see that moderates are beginning to stand up and publicly show they are also against these terrorists.

Unfortunately, these terrorists make life difficult for the moderate muslims, who just want to get on with their lives. It is good to see that moderates are beginning to stand up and publicly show they are also against these terrorists.
Real muslims realise, surely, that this has nothing to do with religion. They should stop using the word 'Muslim' in the description of these animals and simply call them terrorists.

The BBC seems to have a problem using the word terrorist! ::)
A couple of times today I've heard them on the radio quoting President Kenyatta and when he has used the word terrorist, the newsreader adds something like "as they are calling them" :-\
On the website as well they have only used the word terrorist where they are quoting someone and if it's not a direct quote they have put quotation marks around the word. Thus....
" The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) said three "terrorists" had been killed and all escape routes sealed off. "
They should be calling them terrorists as calling them anything like militants or fighters gives them legitimacy, which is totally wrong!! >:(

I suspect this trait of avoiding the T word may well have started around easter 1998. Otherwise the stench of hypocrisy might have been too strong around Westminster/ Stormount. ::)
