Is it the time of year? Holidays over, mostly. Back to work, bit of a backlog of jobs after said holidays maybe?
Add in shift work and a week off in between that's 3 weeks of being away from home effectively, so nouts been done and jobs are stacking up. Car work, decorating the house, light bulbs need changing, grass needs cutting, car needs cleaning, cats got to go to the vets, she wants advice on colours for paint, new radiator for the cloakroom, works flat out "can you work Sunday"
Is it just me! Guessing not going by conversations at the pre cat party, and those that couldn't make it.

Feking busy. Between now and 16th October I have 3 days off :'( - Booked on a training course next week, chasing my bosses boss about any new roles that maybe available.
Looking to complete sale on my flat, next few weeks, buy a house. Luckily in last couple of weeks, done load of work on the 2.2 (Wishbones/MOT/Droplinks/Handbrake/Rear Shoes/Track-rod ends)
So that's in good shape for a while.
Need to get back home as looks like others need my help ::)

I'm lucky; early retirement, police and CPS work, plus helping friends and family makes for a lovely life! ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

I'm desperately trying to earn as much as I can (I get a decent mileage rate using my own car) at the moment, really need to get some more qualifications done but struggling juggling things around, then weekends are mainly out for jobs as it's the only time I get to have my sons with me.

I'm quite busy, but I always try to make time for my afternoon nap.

Its been a busy year for me, with the client launching a major new service, and having to build the IT infrastructure around that and another service entering trial for launch soon. I'm flat out at work, have been for about a year.
Then, the fun and games in my personal life.
Thank god I don't believe in stress, I reckon I'd be a prime candidate for underpants on head, pencils up nose.
Wibble!

Make more time, you need your beauty sleep you ugly bugger :y :y

Well, the new addition to our family has reduced my "freetime" considerably ... he requires 4 walks a day, 4 X 5 minute training sessions a day, at least an hours play twice a day, and of course feeding.
Seems to prevent me doing any housework as the few minutes a day I have left are soon taken up by gardening and drinking beer ..... :) :) :)

P.S. Just realised that I have just become of age, 250 post's, took a long time, but no need to post anything I need, I just read and all is clear, good forum. :y

We did the back one years ago, swmbo won't let me have the front done, she thinks if it was a hard surface I would end up putting a couple of cars on it..... :o ::) ::) ;) Just had the drive widened, more like a layby really, but only a couple of foot, but every little helps.... :D :D :y
-
SWMBO stopped me from flagging the rear garden >:( >:( >:( If I'd had my way I could have had space for 4 cars and a rather large garage :-\ :-\ :-\ BLOODY Grass, hate the stuff! plus I sneeze forever and a day after cutting it >:( >:( >:(

I'm that busy ;D Between the new role at work eating up more hours than before, and with Amy working saturdays it seems we either spend our time at work, eating dinner, sleeping or, one day a week, out spending some time together - nothing is getting done around the house, or on the car, or anywhere really!
-
After a busy few months when I've been renovating a house which is practically finished, I'm not at all busy now.... 8)
Skint now though! ::) Gissa job? :)
-
I'm just starting to try and catch up on paperwork after being in hospital... I reckon it's about 150 hours work to get up to date and then another 150+ hours to update the customer database fully!
Plus, for some reason (!), I'm busy trying to sort a nursery too and I'm still supposed to be off sick and resting!!!!
BTW, that pup looks stunning Entwood!!! Willow is looking forward to getting to play :y
-
I'm busy . . . . .
Trying to sell my house so that I can piss off out of London . . . . . ???
-
Oh yeah, also spent the last week trying to fix the IT infrastructure running one of my brother's shops. Project Bodge implemented until I can sort out if its a hardware fault or a hypervisor fault why all servers loose contact with their storage...
-
I do feel sorry for you lot, really I do!
Me, aye busy when I'm away at work but when I get home my time is my own (well hers!).
Benefits of a 28 day schedule I guess! :y
-
Wait till you're retired, like me, you wondered how you found time to go to work :)

Busy time here too. Just back from a weeks holiday in wales on saturday.
We have a 4 month old baby girl, swmbo is self employed so took very little maternity leave, but the law now says dads can use what the mothers don't so I'm off work until January 6th, watching baba full time.
Completely renovated the back garden during the summer, built decking, fencing and a brand new lawn. We're currently having the driveway block paved and in the next month or so we will be having a new kitchen fitted, off to have a blether with a planner at Wickes in the morning.
Phew..... I need a beer ;D
