We were just saying the same here at 6pm - had to draw curtains and put the light on then :(

The chickens are off into their coop to roost now by 6.30 at the latest. It doesn't seem two minutes since I had to close the pop hole at 10.00.

Winters coming, no frost yet tho'

Seems to me that the nights pull in a lot faster than they open out, I know it's exactly the same but feels different......... ::) ::)

In the summer, when the evenings are warm and sunny, you don't see many kids out round here. Now it's dark early, they are out in force, screaming and shouting and kicking bottles/cans around. Strange little blighters, aren't they ???

Clocks go back soon too then productive outside time after work comes to an end!
