Well hello everyone,
As above really, liked the Omega's from day one, but loved them from the facelift version onwards, and today, I have finally bought one. It's a dark blue 2.2 DTi on a 52 plate with 93K. It (haven't got a name for the car yet but most likely will do) like all my previous cars be my pride and joy. It isn't without it faults (like me) but I shall do a search on those when I finally get the car on Friday and see how to sort them out or post a query. For now, I just want to say hi and I can't wait to drive my new beast whilst giggling like any 42 year old man would be (er well a certain section of polled 42 year old men said in a survey some where on some day that they may/might giggle like a girl and that person would have been me)
Cheers for now

You are all too kind, I would like of course to show you all my pride and joy and then we can actually assess whether I was had or more likely I bought a really nice well loved car with just a few issues to keep my busy. You can't beat a bit of tinkering I don't think. :D

Hi All,
Am going to post in the main section but just wanted to say that my 5 year old son has decided to call my new purchase, Big Barrie. At the risk of blowing smoke up your backsides, thanks again for the warm welcome. :y

Hide your monkeys!
Welcome, I'm only 15 miles up the road... :y

Welcome Monkeyhanger, there are a few members from your neck of the woods; look out for Philrich from sunny Seaton........ :y :y

Now then,
I am not born and bred in Hartlepool, so can not claim to truly be a monkey hanger, but would love to be considered as an honorary one, as I have quite like the place (been here since 99), I don't suppose one of your local lads (or lasses) owns a beautiful 99 V reg dark blue (mini facelift I think) Omega which parks outside Charles Dickens in Hartlepool. I was admiring it this morning whilst cycling around doing odds and sods. It looked just stunning....
Was on you tube last night watching all clips of Omega's doing rolling burnout's and do'nuts etc - oh to be young and daft again, I'm at the age where I am more interested in mpg than mph. :P
