Ok first I would like to say that my origonal post was suposed to have been light hearted, but I understand some people could have taken it the wrong way, & reading all the replies it all seems to have got a bit out of hand, I would like to thank those who saw no harm in it & respect the views of those that did .Incidentely british Airways used the term J F in a tv advert back in 2000 which was nominated for a award so it couldn't be a malicious term if it was shown hundreds of times on TV, in fact thats where I must have dug the term up from my subconcious. Anyway I think we can put this one to bed now :)

Glory for Gorgeous and Abbott Mead Vickers
Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Gorgeous both emerged triumphant from the prestigious British Television Advertising Awards held in London on 8 March.
Abbott Mead scooped the most successful advertising agency award for the second year running, gaining points particularly for its "Surfer" and "Bet on Black" spots for Guinness as well as its light-hearted Dulux campaign and powerful work for the government's anti drink-drive campaign.
Gorgeous landed the most successful production company prize, also for the second year running – despite only being five years old. The judges believed the company had maintained "a consistent level of outstanding work" over the past year, including the much-loved "Johnny Foreigner" spot for British Airways starring American satirist P.J. O'Rourke, the Bisto campaign through Saatchi and Saatchi, and Frank Budgen's "Bet on Black" snail-race spot for Guinness.

I think someone had just done some 'Diversity' training, to be honest, and mixing up equality with racism. That is only MY opinion. :)
-
I've not done any diversity training. Never! I certainly will have to do some soon, but as of yet, I've not done a minute of it.
I don't think the term used has anything to do with "equality". I think it's a clear cut, racially agrivated statement and I will continue to defend that.
Just consider how the comments could be percieved by a different audience -
Also, the way the "JF" term was used in the above examples, is in a slightly different context to the one you used, no?
I'm also not the only one who had such views.
As said in your other various threads, not everyone can share the same opinion in everything - this is what makes the world go around, and there is no harm in agreeing to disagree :y

Well said Phil er up! let them fight it out, we are all entitled to our views!!!
-
Life is too short to worry about the context of a phrase.
Phil, well put statement there. :y
James, I understand your viewpoint and share your beliefs but this was not a racially motivated comment, simply a general comment about modern society and how people are fed up with this governments complete inability to do that which we put them there to do in the first place!
Now let's get back to the important topic of today.... who will be the new Chelsea boss? ;)
