Post by: Rog on 02 October 2013, 16:22:27
A typical Hants driver maybe ?  Ah but it's a Merc not a Miggy . . . (or a Westfield)  ::)

I like the expression "outside the mould of normality"    ;)   ;D

I guess he'll be saying goodbye to his licence in a few weeks, and rightfully so......what a f***ing tool  :o

That's definitely got to be a guaranteed conviction for dangerous driving with that evidence.

I've often thought of doing that, to observe the top strut mounts over uneven surfaces.

although I'd strongly consider removing the bonnet, although that's an offence afaik

To spare you the paperwork court time, they only move vertically if the front tyres leave the ground, and twist slightly when the steering wheel is turned :y

Given that the car is being sold by a Mercedes franchise, that someone even entertained the idea of using a booster pack in that manner speaks volumes about the quality of their aftercare :o

Hmmm. Not convinced that cleaning bugs of the windscreen is significantly more expensive than replacing the front off the car when the inevitable happens ::)

Aside from the obvious Darwin Award entry...

That bonnet is probably fubared, as they are designed to fold up progressively in a prang, so the airflow pushing into it has more than likely bent it. Would also have stressed the hinges as well I'd have thought :-\
