Been looking at the Stag lpg kits on the bay to replace the apparently non functioning kit I have installed :-[
Just found out though that they don't come with software or data lead. On contact I'm told the software can be downloaded from a given site, and the lead is available elsewhere for £40.
I'm guessing this is standard procedure maybe, but are there other options for purchase where it would all come complete?
Hoping to be in a position to buy at the end of October so trying to suss out the options now :y
Cheers.

Software available direct from AC

Thanks TB. I was a little sceptical ::)
£339 for the kit, plus £40 then for the lead.
Sound about right?
-
For front end, sounds about right. But why ebay? Remember, theres more to it than just the controller - injectors and vapourisers are also key, and many "kits" skimp and provide borderline vapourisers.
-
Sounds pricey :-X ::)
-
Open to pointers for other options.
eBay was my first thought :-X

Accept most stuff on ebay will be crap, then base your expectations on that.
I'd try to find other options for more reputable suppliers.

Yep, fair enough.
Quick google search produced autogas-lpg.co.uk - 6 cyl stag kit for £290.
Getting better.

You need to up-spec that though, but I doubt the extras would make it more than the eBay one ;)

Have just had a rummage to find a link to the firm I bought my kit from, as they're in Ireland...
http://www.lpggpl.com/
I paid £345 for a Stag 300+ front end kit last September, which included the lead and the software disc.
Prices seem to have stayed pretty level, as looking at it, the base kit is £245, +£110 for the 6 cylinder 210bhp, so a total of £355.
Seller was easy enough to deal with, had one issue (no temp sensor in the kit), rang them, 'Get one straight in the post' and the next day it arrived.

Cheers al. If its good enough for you ....
Is that the crowd from Aughnacloy or somewhere? I'll have a look after :y
Cheers

That's going to be marginal at best... They always exaggerate the vap capabilities ::)
Could be interesting to set up though ;D

If I were buying it now, I would have gone for the next one, with a KME Gold reducer, but when I bought it that seemed to be the most comprehensive choice/price :y
But I reasoned that the injectors and reducer are all readily replaceable and for a sensible price, that it could be upgraded quickly enough :y
-
Above noted guys. The injectors I have are less than a year old. I don't know what they are tbh, but guess I could find out. Must remember about the gold reducer though when I get home.
I take it the website allows you to select the components individually?
-
From what I saw of it, select the following:
Lpg components
Front end
Injection
Stag
Then click on the kit image
Core price is £245, then in the box to the right of the image, select the kit you need, so 6 cylinder 260bhp?
The + £xxx is the extra over the core price, so add the two together and that is what you pay :y

Cheers al, much appreciated :y
